Inspired by a life-long friendship, an eye on ingredients, an evening cocktail and a fascination with the mighty little bee, we founded Queen Bee Distilling. We are a woman-owned company dedicated to making female focused luxury spirits, while celebrating the beauty of love and nature. We salute the elevated experience of exploring new and old relationships while gathering, sipping and sharing around any table.
Our brand honors nature’s true Queen – the Queen Bee and you, the discerning consumer who doesn’t compromise on quality, taste or lifestyle. The base of our premium spirits is raw honey or organic, non-GMO sources; therefore, everything is gluten free, grain free, nightshade free, chemical free and glycerin free. We give you spirits as smooth as honey – sheer elegance in a bottle – and invite you to raise a glass and join the celebration!
We are proud to partner with Kelly and Matt from Thirsty Bee Meadery who supply us with our honey and mead (honey, water and yeast).
It is very difficult to find truly organic honey, since bees can fly anywhere and can be exposed to pesticides. However, we do use chemical free, local raw honey.
Our Queen to Cup Spirits begin with a flower,
and through the magic of pollination our world is enriched and honey is the result. By using raw, chemical free honey instead of corn, rice, barley, wheat or potatoes, we save the bees, help our ecosystem by promoting sustainability by cutting water usage, and lower our carbon footprint. Honey is anti-microbial, anti-bacterial and the only known food that has all the ingredients to keep you alive. Interestingly, bees are the only insect that provide food for humans and 80% of the world’s pollination creating a crucial process in the ecosystem and our food chain. Furthermore, we honor these tiny creatures by naming each spirit in our suite after a type of bee.
OSMIA VODKA
Aromatic and Smooth
A conscientious choice, yet uncompromising. This sophisticated vodka is distilled from raw chemical-free honey, obtained from nature’s true Queen and organic non-GMO sugar cane. We use only the hearts and the purest water which is perfect for any mixed drink, highball or martini. Curated from Queen to Cup, Osmia will have you raising many a toast. Osmia bees are fast, energetic and solitary, pollinating spring flowers as well as fruit and nut orchards. She makes nests for her brood and will aggregate together with other bees.

We are two Houston girls with East Texas roots and a friendship that dates over 45 years. We deal with autoimmune issues and allergies requiring abstaining from grains, gluten and nightshades. In our search for a spirit that did not originate from these allergens, we saw a need in the market. Inspired by nature, friendship and the mighty little bee – Queen Bee Distilling, a woman owned company, was born. Our QUEEN to CUP journey starts with local raw, chemical free honey to make the best sipping vodka and gin. We ourselves desire to be an educated consumer and avidly read labels and try to be sustainable in our own lives. Out of that passion, we created unique spirits distilled with a conscience. We appreciate transparency and equally believe we owe it to you to provide an honest product.
Within the hive are many workers and no journey is taken alone. Our team of women experts are groundbreakers in the industry and have been instrumental in helping us realize our dream and craft perfection in a bottle.
